Anyone for Tennis?
Today we splashed out on some tennis rackets in the Rebel sports sale, as the sales here tend to be 75% off it would be rude not to! As Myles was really keen to start playing - I think it may have been much talk of Wimbledon when we'd visited the UK. At any rate he was sooo excited that we decided to combine our visit to a friends bach in Waikanae with an impromptu game of tennis at the beach courts opposite the diary where we always grab an icecream from!
Well I have to say that Myles adored playing and really concentrated so much on how to hit the ball over the net. It is amazing how determined he can be - if he gets an idea into his head that he wants to do something he's pretty tenacious! - That's probably why he survived and is here now I guess
Once we'd played our 'match' we headed over the the bach and Myles discovered some badminton rackets so a quick lesson ensued, followed by M taking charge of the camera to take a pic of mom and dad worn out by a day of racket sports!
